I live in Sheffield with my husband and four children. For over twenty years I enjoyed working in education but then took the decision to make a career change. I have always had a strong interest in the piano and am a keen amateur musician. So I made the leap and trained as a Piano Tuner Technician at the Piano Technology School, Rugby. The course included a two week work placement with Piano Restorations Ltd, which was a particular highlight for me; it was such an enjoyable and valuable experience.

I am a member of the Piano Technicians Guild and hope, over the coming years, to work towards taking my exams with them to become a Registered Piano Technician.
